LMBGC members care for three Blue and Gold Star Markers on the mountain. The Gold Star Marker represents those who have lost their lives on behalf of our country in the past and the Blue Star Marker represents living service members that protect our freedom today. Recently, Lookout Mountain Beautiful Garden Club has been honored to install a Gold Star Marker at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
